History in the Cemeteries.There are a number of old cemeteries within the district and many have been cleaned up recorded and fenced off to preserve them. This was to some extent done by a government grant a few years back. Most of the old settlements had a cemetery so they can be rather scattered with sometimes only one or two graves being known today. A number of properties in the past have had private burials on them. Help is needed to complete the section on cemeteries.
