Art Galleries in and around Hawker.

Hawker holds an annual ten day art exhibition featuring artists from the Flinders Ranges area during September/October each year. This has proven to be a very successful event and is well patronised by the travelling public and local artists. Paintings sold can be collected at the time of sale and many of those who have visited once will return frequently in future years.

Old Ghan Restaurant and Art Gallery - (08) 8648 4176

The Gallery specialises in Flinders Ranges art and artists, and extends from the walls of the restaurant to the original ticket office. One of the galleries having a good selection of aboriginal style paintings. A wide range of souvenirs and gifts are available. Patrons are welcome to browse at any time.

Jeff Morgan Art Gallery - (08) 8648 4299

A local and well know artist who owns and operates the art gallery that carries this impressive showing of his work right in the centre of the township. Recently an area has been added to this premises which houses a panorama display of the Flinders Ranges. Well worth a visit.
